Pixen posts on 3/8/2006 10:23:21 PM Phedre, really, I know you are burning up inside (so was I and so was my sister when I referred her to these books) but really, I can't tell you. Hey, if somebody else wants to post with the answer, go ahead, but that's slack. If you're told, it's just going to ruin the whole climax of the series. Really. I'm not joking. Please; for the sake of your reading enjoyment, read like crazy.

Faraday's Friend posts on 10/8/2005 8:38:04 AM Hi i waited for 3 years to go near hade's daughter as i thought it would be a trilogy but no sara goes and pulls out a 4 book series so now that i have devoured the first two and am partway through the third i discover that the 4th is not due out until May next year, oh the agony! I fell in love with Sara when i needed a break from Traci Hardings series about Tory and Maelgwen. I picked Battleaxe up at the book store an pretty much never put it down! read the triolgy quick smart had all my mates reading them two, then the wayfarer redemption came along what a relief to see Faraday again! I have read the crucrible series as well however found the last 2 books hard to read as they were slow going or perhaps it was just my moods who knows lol but i read the first as the possiblities of a paralell universe really different turns of event sin our own history how might this world have turned out, are we really just a game to the angels???
Shaun posts on 8/5/2005 2:05:45 AM Hi All, just to answer a few of your Questions. The Third Book of the Troy game was released in April (Australia) of 2005 and was the best in the series yet. It seems that the first 2 books were just written so sara could write this one! Book 4 is now called Druids Sword and will be released in May 2006. Sara then will turn her attentions back to Tencendor. Sara says that Axis and StarDrifter will return, Maximillian from beyond the hanging wall will make an appearence, and so will the decendents of Boaz Tirzah from Threshold. The Trilogy is called "Darkglass Moutain". It looks like the glass pyramid out of Thrshold is going to be causing trouble again, what was his name nelam or something. Sara Douglass was refered to me by a friend at work. He didnt refer any particular book, but because he knew me he knew i would like her writing style. The Crucible Trilogy was the first non- commercial (for lack of better word i suppose) book i have ever read. i have only read the Harry Potter Series , Lord Of the Rings, The Godfather, The Da Vinci Code and countless Star Trek Novels before i decided to try something unfamiliar. I was hooked. I read the trilogy in a week. I loved how it mixed the Fantasy with Real Historical Charecters. I loved the twist on christianity, i loved everything about those books and i still feel that Bolinbroke and especially Mary are two of the best charecters i have ever come accross, the scene where Mary stops the riots at the tournament is absolutley brilliant!, i could not believe that a book could be that good. After finishing the cruicible i moved on to the Troy Game. WOW!! Even better then the first series. I have read Threshold, which i enjoyed but would have liked to have seen it as a trilogy. I am now reading the Axis Trilogy almost finishing the the second book, i am looking forward to the Wayfare redemtion even more then the Troy Game Book 4!!! It took me a long time to pick the Axis Books up. I have been burnt by traditional fantasy in the past and did not want to waste my time on more. I should have read these books years ago. It is sara douglass after.
Courtney posts on 6/17/2005 12:28:20 PM Hello, I was wondering what are the 5th and 6th books? Are they out yet? IF not when? I read the first 4 and want to read more!!! The first 4 are really good. A friend of mine got me into the series. Later
Shakur posts on 5/17/2005 6:51:52 PM Talking of Sara Dougless's book The Darkwitch rising!! WHAT A BOOK! God after rooting through two books for Brutus-William-Louis to finaly love Cornilea-Ceala-Noah and then have her fall in love with none other then the MINITOR! God! I was about to hit the roof! But there so sweet together! and then that bitch Catling had to go bind thier daughter. Pissed me off so much, I had to put the book down. I can't wait till the fourth and final book, although its bittersweet... THE LAST BOOK we get of the twists and turns of the troy game. I can't wait to see how it resolves itself.
