I dont know if any one knows this but burt has family in a small town near Houghton Lake Michigan. A couple yrs after the first movie was out he had the Trans Am here. While he was here he rolled it and laid the top onto the front seat. I seen it after he did it. The car sat at a friend of his house, which was a neighbor to my grandparents house, and it was totaled. Just though ya'll might like to know that little tid-bit

well, johnny knoxville will be playing the bandit and ashton kusher will be smoky. jessica simpson will be playing frog and they will drive a vw new beetle instead of a trans am. or at least thats the way hollywierd is going lately

could someone please tell me if its true that while burt was filming ther longest yard producers were asking him to do another Smokey & the bandit movie and if this is true any one have any idea on when filming is going to start and who will be staring in it

To answer your question yes he laid down some rubber the 6.6 liter engine still has some giddyup, it still had the antenna but the original Connex CB has been replaced with a Cobra-29.
And Burt actually owns this TA car #1 that was used for all of the close up driving shots. And to answer your Question 10-10 means you are away from your raido or on break.
