Deena posts on 6/12/2010 9:05:56 PM I would like to know if there is any important information or "things" i could learn about Patrick?...he seems like a very interesting character. This book is incredible for sure
Mike Crowley posts on 7/28/2009 12:04:09 PM This is my 2nd attempt at a post. I found some of the book interesting, but overall found it a disappointment. What Charlie experiences while "growing up" has been covered before in books and with much better results. I found a lot of the book to be boring and contrived. Charlie doesn't show enough real emotion for me to find anything of value here. "The worst lack all conviction and the best burn with a passion and intensity that consumes them." Try reading "Pan" and "Hunger" by Knut Hamsum to know what it is really like to be consumed by conflicting emotions. This book is like a pop song, you think that there is really something there for a short time, but when you listen to the words carefully you see how shallow it really is.

Steve posts on 12/21/2008 2:08:35 PM What happened to the Four Corners of Nowhere DVD? I thought it was supposed to be released a long time ago. Does anyone know if it's still in the works?
im a nerd posts on 12/21/2008 10:13:11 AM wow. ive never read anything like this. its my favourite book, and i think most people that has gone, or is going through the same things as CHARLIE would think the same thing. im looking for books similar to this one, if anyone knows of any, please help
Kaitlynn posts on 12/4/2007 2:39:00 PM This book is amazing! it wasn't like anything i've read before. It kinda got to me. Like i started out the same way Charlie did when he first started High school (well not the part of not having friends)!! The thing that i started doing in high school was drugs! Now in the book it really didnt mention him doing drugs that often. but i did them all the time. If there ever wasn't a time that i wasn't doing them i was a mean person. When you get into High school you go through so many changes. its weird really. How i connected to a fictional person. its so weird because everything Stephen Chbosky mentions in this book im pretty sure its happened to most people or most people have felt that way. i dont know what else to say really. but if anyone else knows of any other books like this please let me know. thank you so much
Becca posts on 11/21/2007 11:18:50 PM This book is my favorite and it's so amazing. It hits right on the dot for all the things teens may go through. I've read this book more than 25 times, I'm sure. I own 3 copies of the book so I can loan it to friends. Most of the things Charlie goes through, I can relate to and I can also relate to the way he thinks and acts. I'm horrible at leaving things like this, but I can say.... If you like this book you might want to read: "Catcher in the Rye" [and for those who are into music as well you might want to read these books below] "Killing Yourself To Live" "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs" ( these are buy the same author )
Nikki posts on 8/29/2007 2:08:10 PM This is my favorite book of all time!! I have read it hundreds of times. I would love to know of other books like this one...i have been realy searching for them. This book has been with me thorugh a lot fo times and I am glad it has touched so many other people as well!!!
Zach posts on 8/7/2007 9:04:17 PM Im 11 but i have those 2 older brothers who basically tell u evrything about life. I started smoking wen i was 9 and i recently got intoxicated enough to go to the hospital. So when I read this book i thought me and charlie were exactly alike. A book given to me by my brother that is not exactly alike, but similar is King Dork by: Frank Portman.
Jenna posts on 8/7/2007 2:25:04 PM stephen chbosky is writing a screen-play for the book!
