My favorite line of Perks of being a wallflower was the last paragraph it said: "So, if this does end up being my last letter, please believe that things are good with me, and even when they're not, they will be soon enough. And I will belive the same about you." And When I read that line I cried, becuase I belived that the Auother ment that. And I wish I could tell the Chbosky thank you for writing this book. Because I am goning through some things that I am trying to get over by myself and when he said that I didnt fell alone.

HELP! okay so the only thing my boyfriend wants for his birthday is a poster of somesort of his favorite book.. I cant find any sort of poster/ original ad or any sort of memorabila of when this book came out. Please if you know at all where I could find anything let me know!

I got this book because a friends recommended it to me. I must say i have never teared nor cried over a book let alone a movie and this book changed that. I am 18 and must say this book really touched me. I was wondering if anyone can take me in the direction of other books similiar to this one. I liked how it was written and the content inside. any help would be greatlt apprectaited.

I've been in love with the man for what seems like most of my life. Stephen is a really charming person and a genuinely good guy... very intelligent and insightful. I'm not sure if Charlie is an extension of him (though, I think not), but the character reflects a certain sensitivity that Stephen has.

I have this friend Casey his life is opposite of me and so many ways, yet our thoughts on life are so a like its scary. Anyway he gave me perks of being a wallflower out of no where as if he knew I was have a hard time again… Families can be so messed up! He told me it wouldn’t let me down and that he read it in one day. He was right it didn’t let me down. It was like a pair of glasses almost it helped things become clearer with what I was thinking without it changing my state of mind.
About a week later I returned the book and simply said thank you. Once aging my friend knew how I felt and left me a alone because he knew I was happy. Now I am saying thank you to you the dear writer of this book. For you have forever helped me with your book that I use every day for now at least to see life… to see every thing.

Wow, so i didn't think so many other people were amazed with this book like i am. I live in a small town, and no one has heard of this book except for my english teacher. He suggested i read it and do a Character Analysis over Charlie. I'm in the middle of it right now btw, and it's actually fun. An english project.... fun... those words don't usually go together in the same sentence most of the time. Anyways, i guess what i'm saying is that once i started reading Perks i couldn't put it down. I read it 7 hours straight one night, cried twice, and was shocked by the end. I related to Charlie though i haven't gone through most of his experiences, you just grow so close to him, like he's your best friend. It's weird to think that I grew so attached to a fictional character! This book was powerful and i will never forget about it. I am also wondering if I will ever come across a better book than this one, so if any one knows of any amazing books, let me know!

I read this book last night in about 4 hours. It was such a fast read because it was so good. I found a lot of myself in each character, as well as friends and family members. Im turing 18 soon and leaving for college and it seems as if most these experiences are going on in my life right now. Its undescribable how close i can feel to someone (charlie) who isnt even real.
I wish i could tell the author thank you for writing such a wonderful story

I read perks awhile ago, and while all by myself laughed out loud which doesnt allways happen as much as Im into what Im reading, it is my test of greatness, it was when Charli kicks butt, something about his brother, scratching retinas, pain but not "too much" I loved it same w/jerico and the gas cap. I met Chbosky in Michigan when filming his first film,over 10 yrs ago and am rehanging a painting in its original filmed location thanks to him, he,s the coolest

well... after i read the book I tried to see how i could relate it to my life, and not make it like my life. I've done a lot of the same things as charlie, but in different parts of my life, and it's nice to read a book that's so real. It didn't change my life, it just put it in a new perspective, and i'm very grateful for that.
sometimes it's just nice to know that other people do crazy and fasinating things, and have similar thoughts about life.

I got hold of this title by one of my good friends, and the first thing she said to me was, "This book will change your life." Of course I didn't really take her seriously, it was just a book, right? Wrong. I kept it in my shelf for a week or two, and then I decided to crack it open, see whats inside? Well I found something I didn't think I would in this book. Some life changing material, just like she said. After I read the perks I realized that, "Hey, maybe this could happen, and maybe it couldn't."
Charlie is a boy in 9th grade searching for something and someone that'll finally teach him to be infinate, and find his way through his life. And I hope people go on to be just like him, and find his way thorugh. I have. And now, I swear I am infinate.
