Jane posts on 5/6/2012 8:12:14 PM I also have to read this for school. I definitely agree it's very difficult to follow because the chapters themselves aren't in chronological order. He jumps from talking about one thing to something else then back to the one before. I can't find in the book where he talks about "blowback" and what alternatives he gives to regime change... if anyone has some help, it'd be greatly appreciated!
audrey posts on 4/16/2012 12:05:45 PM I have to agree with Jesse. This book "Overthrow" is possibly the worst book I've ever had to read for school. Not only is it boring, but it's confusing to read...the author will mention a dozen people in one page, and then you have to try to remember who was who later on in the chapter.(This review is coming from someone who actually likes history...)
