Dear Laura, I have all the Toby Peters books and have spent many happy hours reading them. I have read all Stuart Kaminsky's books and each series is unique and enjoyable. If you like to read about a detective in 40's Hollywood, try Bill Crider's "We'll Always Have Murder". It's a first in a new series for him. I really enjoyed it. In fact, after reading it I then purchased his other 50 plus books in his other 4 or 5 series. He has a similar sense of humor in most of his books as Stuart Kaminsky in the Toby Peter's books. Any other Toby Peters fans? I've read them all, hunting them down in used book shops. Look forward to every one!
