Susan Rogers Cooper Message Board

posts on 5/19/2006 10:57:17 AM Joe, I did have a fan who was going to do a website for me, but he went off into the ether and I've never heard from him again. I think maybe he got a real job.:) Mr. Greenwood, thank you for the invitation. I'll keep that date open. Susan
posts on 5/18/2006 11:52:11 AM Ms. Cooper: I would like to invite you to a free screening of the first documentary film about growing up in the military, "Brats Our Journey Home" in Austin at Messiah Lutheran Church, 5701 Cameron Road at 3pm on Sunday, June 18, 2006. If you would like more information please contact me.
posts on 5/4/2006 5:15:06 PM I DO think it'd be cool to set up an official webpage. At least something so when people do a search on you, they get a definitive site.

posts on 5/4/2006 8:48:45 AM Joe, every little bit helps! Publishing is the slowest business on earth. I still don't have an actual pub date - just the vague 01-07. As soon as I know, I'll post it on this board. Thanks for the PR - are you going into business?? I'll hire you!:) Susan
posts on 5/4/2006 5:36:32 AM Might not be much, but I have half a dozen peeps who want me to tell them when the release date for "VEGAS NERVE" is, the second I find out. Now if Avon or SMP would just re-issue the previous books, you'd be rolling! (I've exhausted the local used shops for your earlier books to send to folks who can't find 'em.)
posts on 4/9/2006 9:32:22 AM So, Joe, looking for a PR job? You're hired! :) Thanks for the plug! Keep up the good work! :) Susan
posts on 4/8/2006 9:50:33 AM Hey Susan! I've been hanging on Christopher Moore's site (Hilarious writer!) and recommended your books to the other posters. Alas, since most of yours are OOP, you might not see much green from this, but I'd be willing to bet Vegas Nerve (which I've been telling them all to look for this winter) sells great! One poster has already gotten the first 4 Milts from WWL (Used, of course) and LOVED 'em!
Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 2/15/2006 1:16:20 PM Jo, thanks for the support, but like I told Joe, it just wouldn't be a good idea. SMP has a lot of books coming out, and mine just has to wait its turn. Susan
Jo Bayne posts on 2/3/2006 11:44:38 AM Dear Susan: How maddening! I support Joe's idea of an appeal on line to SMP. Are you really sure it wouldn't work? Best wishes Jo
Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 2/3/2006 8:48:11 AM Joe, thanks for the idea, but I doubt it. You're just going to have to wait! As am I. Sigh. Susan
