I am listening to A Thin Dark Line and am enjoying it very much. There is a reference to a rape, with a code of 261, which is correct for a California Penal Code. However, this story is based in Louisiana. I believe the correct Louisiana Code would be R.S.14:41 for Rape and R.S.14:42 for Aggravated Rape. I realize that not many of your readers would catch this, but for those of us that do, it is disappointing that you did not do the proper research.

Really enjoyed the book. Like all of them, but since I live in New Iberia, Louisiana, this was special. Sounds like you read too many of James Lee Burke's.
My wife's maiden name is Anne Broussard, and her friends call her Annie!
