Tanith Lee Message Board

posts on 5/13/2006 10:32:20 AM hmmm. not really, ROMANCE as such, only a TINY bit at the end, its basically action, action, action but very funny at the end especially when art starts talking to the parrots. HaHa. but dont let that put you off. they are soo good i bought them.
posts on 5/7/2006 1:31:51 PM Hey Nevra:) I read almost all the Claidi journals before I kind of got bored of them. They were okay, but nothing spectacular. Thing is with Argul, before there is romance between him and Claidi, I always pictured him to be this middle-aged scruffy gypsy guy, not exactly hotness material. It was the same in Spindle's End. She knew Narl since she was little, and only ever when he was a full-fledged blacksmith, so I always pictured him as this big surly old guy, kind of paternal. I had to completely re-evaluate him when the whole romance thing started. Elhart, my sister just got out Piratica from the library. It looks okay, maybe I'll give it a try. Does it have any romance in it? I guess it would be okay if it did, but I don't have the highest regard for Lee's romance writing skills
posts on 5/7/2006 8:09:45 AM hello marvolo, you said talk so im talking! have you read piratica and piratica two ? ive got them both and they were so cool, but im sorry to say the second wasnt as good as the first.

Katie posts on 12/29/2005 9:50:27 AM Don't you think that Tanith Lee rocks! I wish that what happened to Claidi could happen to me. I picture Argul really hot. The book rock. Too bad almost all of the rest are the adult books.
