Teri Woods Message Board

Keeping You Informed posts on 6/26/2008 1:30:39 AM Kwame Teague wrote all the books of the Dutch trilogy. Caleb Alexander, the author of the Deadly Reigns trilogy, was the ghostwriter for True to the Game II and III.
pahjie posts on 6/25/2008 7:31:42 PM I just finished true to the game 3, it was alright at best. I was expecting more from it. Apparently Teri Woods had a ghost writer{Kawame Teague} for Dutch. Teague wrote the last one which was in my opinion is fantastic. I was kind of expecting more from true to the game 3 since dutch 3 left me saying "dang" and shaking my head for days. Whereas true to game 3 has me saying ok good plot.
Philly posts on 6/23/2008 9:47:58 PM I read TTTGIII and it wasn't even good. How is the hospital going to conspire to keep Quadir alive. Then he fell in love with the doctor. How phony is that. Everyone is chasing after Gena trying to get Quadir's money and kill her. She's mad at Quadir because he's in love with the doctor that saved his life. Just when you thought it couldn't get anymore unrealistic, Jerell has a twin brother Terell who thinks Gena killed his brother so now he wants to kill Gena. He rapes her grandmother, shoots her uncle and kills her best friend - all to try and find Gena. Quadir swoops out of nowhere and saves the day killing Terell. The bad cops get caught too. Gena and Quadir get married in front of all of the family but he's supposed to be dead and no one is supposed to know. The book was DUMB!

Ty posts on 6/9/2008 8:56:04 AM @ Gracia - here we go again! For the Slow I'm with you 100. These people are either not reading the posts or are with Teri's camp. Darn shame.
Jennifer posts on 6/6/2008 11:18:40 PM I'm not sure if this message board is just for Teri Woods books. But i must tell all true readers that I just read this book called Hood by Noire. If you haven't read it, please go get it. It was the BOMB!! Oh yeah, and I got my copies of DR3 and Dutch 3. Thanks for informing me. Peace and Blessings
Gracia Fields posts on 6/6/2008 9:45:11 PM I have read just about all of Teri Woods books. Here first book she has ever written was the one that started me reading. Deadly Reigns wow! True to the Game, wow! Rectangle of Sins, wow! I will never forget Dutch, mmm.... I cannot wait for Dutch III, Deadly Reigns III, & True to the Game III. All of the above are absolutely fabulous. She is an excellent talented writer.
MsNikki posts on 6/6/2008 12:13:15 AM I am also an avid reader. I have been waiting for DR3 to come out. I'm glad I got on this site however, I do agree with Jennifer, we are all adults and deserve respect. I didn't have ANY idea that Teri Woods did not write these books. I thought she was the author and constantly looked for these books using her name. And I'm definitely not slow, I am a fan of ALL African American literature but I couldn't tell you a thing about the authors individually.
Jamie posts on 6/3/2008 12:40:48 PM I understand where Jennifer is coming from but I also have to agree with Slow. All the order information is here for those that want to know. I got my copies of Deadly Reigns and Dutch through the board and I couldn't be happier. I'm glad the authors have a voice. I always thought Teri Woods wrote those books and she was one of my favorite authors because of it but now I will buy books from the real writers.
Jennifer posts on 6/2/2008 11:36:05 PM I never came onto this message board to know that the true author wrote the final books. And it is rude to call someone slow. Adults don't behave like that. And truthfully why would you call someone slow and in the same breath want them to support the writer. From what I'm reading you are either cool with the person supporting his work or you know him personally and giving my money to people that don't know how to talk to ANYBODY is a no-no. I am a fan of good writing. Teri Woods doesn't mean anything to me. I like good literature. So grow up
TISHA posts on 6/2/2008 9:07:50 PM I am new to this message board stuff. I would just like to know when ,who, and where can I find Dutch III.
