I want to see a movie about True To The Game!!! I read the books 3 times each and I want to put a face to the people in the stories. I don't care who wrote the book, just make a movie somebody.

FG Anthony Fields wrote Angel. Kita while you are asking Donnie if he is getting paid to smash Teri I can ask you the same question. Are you getting paid to defend her? I’ve listened to and read the interviews about this situation from Kwame’s standpoint and even one with Teri. She was wrong as two left shoes. I hope that she does get her act together one day and make amends for what she has done, but in the meantime wrong is wrong! I don’t’ think so many people would have a problem with her if she would just stop lying and pay these authors. But she hasn’t. You also need to acknowledge the fact that the books were good. Had Dutch 3 come out under her name with the same errors I bet you would have liked it. Why? Because the other two had errors also but you haven’t seemed to point those out.

could we please discuss the books. Any of the books, I don't care. It's sad because I have looked at other author reviews on this website and this is the only website that everyone is discussing the author/publisher instead of the book. Can we please get back to discussing a book. I understand Teri is the worst, she is a thief and a liar. FINE!!! LETS MORE ON!!!

Kita ! Are you new to reading the reason I asked is because sometimes when you read reviews it might be haters of authors or friends of authors so some reviews you can not always be the last decision the reason I said that you said Caleb Alexander and Kwame books were flops where did you obtain that info from or are you in the literary rim because I notice you asked Donnie was he or are you just a Teri supporter and if you are then if seems real funny that you were not aware of the Teri Woods saga have you ever gone on some of the literary blogs when Kwame was interviewed in reference to his books and then the portion you wrote about grammmatical errors you might need to read other books Dutch 3 is not the only book with errors I am an old avid reader a senior citizen and I have seen errors in books of well known writers back in the day as they got better and were able to hire good people to edit books they made errors also, so do not assume it is just the new authors and books are not being edited if you would go to some of the literary sites such as urbanreviews, rawsistaz, the romer review you might get a better picture of author reviews and when you go to Amazon read all the reviews of people on other books and see if you think it is a friend, a avid reader or a hater.

Donnie....let me ask you a question. Are you getting paid for smashing Teri. I don't know her nor have I ever met her. However, the judge must have thought that she provided enough from the contract being that it has been settled. Furthermore, I have read everybook that has been published through her company as well as the Dutch 3. I can honestly tell you, from a reader, and nothing more, that you can honestly tell a difference. I could care less about who wrote the book; it all has to do with the editing and the feedback from editing. Dutch 3 had all kinds of grammatical errors, and was definitely rushed. Almost like no one had read it before it was published. Let me guess, you read it before it was published???? It figures!!!!!

@ Kita - Yes, I've heard of Ghetto Sam. Read it and loved it. So did the majority of the people that did. And you are right, many people haven't heard of it thanks to Teri Woods. That was her product to market and she didn't. But thanks to this situation, the book is again selling. The book was a flop to you I'm sure because you didn't understand it. It's not your average "street" book. It actually had a message and a point. Not just violence and sex or the mold that most books are following today. Take your own advice and understand the history, the present and help with your future. Maybe in a year or two you can try re-reading Ghetto Sam b/c hopefully you'll be older and a little wiser. The one thing you mentioned is everything - Teri Woods has NOT paid them what the contract states. Ethically and legally she's wrong and she's getting her just desserts. Tell Teri I said HI b/c I'm sure you are part of her camp. Who else in their right mind would keep defending her. Hope your check doesn't bounce.

have you ever read The Adventures of Ghetto Sam and the Glory of My Demise? It was written by Kwame Teague. The book flopped. Many people haven't even heard of the book. So before you try to carry somebody, please understand the history. Also, if Terri Woods had never paid them everything from the contract, then that is one thing, but when they want more than what the contract states, then that is a totally different story. Again ethically she may be wrong, but they should have read the contract before signing them.

@ Kita - "Both Kwame Teague and Caleb Alexander had books out with themselves as authors. They were flops." Are you SERIOUS? If Caleb and Kwame could not write, do you think she would have signed them in the first place. That's the ONLY thing I will give her credit for - she knows talent when she sees it. It's because of these men and their talent that this discussion thread is even here. People came to talk about the books - none of which were written by Teri Woods. Who hasn't read or at least heard of Dutch? How many months was Deadly Reigns on the bestsellers list. How long was Angel a bestseller? Even True to the Game II and III made the NY bestsellers list. WHY? Because of the talent behind the books. Give credit where credit is due and that's Kwame Teague, Caleb Alexander and Anthony Fields. God don't like ugly and Teri's chickens have come to roost!
