As far as anyone is aware the last book in the sword of truth series will be released sometime in 2008. Other than that there has been no other information released.

Terry goodkind is amazing in every book i have read of his. Most of the time a couldn't put it down. when is the next book coming out? This year or next year?

ummmmmmmm, no offense, but you guys need to check your spelling. i totally agree that shota's magic plays a deep part in the story. she may not be there for the whole story, but she does give really vital information that turns the whole plot around. especially in chainfire. it would be totally sweet if gratch came back! does any body know when the very last book comes out, or if it's even going to be his last?lol i absolutely love stone of tears. that was the best in my opinion. and faith of the fallen.

hey im not trying to be mean but ur pretty stupid why go on a blog if its deditcated to his books and ask if hes any good oh ya i say the forth boook in the sot series byes :)

Yes Goodkind is a very good author. I would say Faith of the Fallen (his 6th installment in the SOT series) is the best one.

I've heard a lot about this author, though I don't really remember what kind of fantasy they write. Is Goodkind any good? Which of their books would you say is the best?

I have no idea what zedd and nicci are gonna do in the new book but i think richards team of ja'la players will the championship then shota will kill six giving richard back his powers, then he'll read the book and kill Jagang

hey shotas magic is going to be deeply involved in the next book shes the only one powerful enough to do anything big i think she will destroy the beast but be gravly wounded and in a last act she will switch places with kahlan and appear to be kahlan and die and the army will starve outside the walls and the city wil have food cuase they can brig it in through the slip oh ya i think kahlan and richard lose there powers and GRATCH comes back i miss him :( oh ya i liked that wolf guy in the first one
