I saw the Pledge yesterday,and for the life of me, I could not figure out
the last few minutes,which is:
Was the black van the killers?
Who caused the crash?
Did Mr. Black have a nervous breakdown
as he sat outisde his gas station mumbling incohrently to himself?
What was the child's bicycle shown for
at the accident scene?
Why did the mother of the little girl
understand he was just trying to capture a killer,and was supported by many law enforcement members. If she cared for him,would she not have at least questioned what was going on?
I'm stumped.
That ending left me without a closure.
Not too many movies do that to me.
