I thought the chemistry was amazing as well! Seems to surpass anything that can be acted! Too bad they did'nt get together in real life...it would have been an amazing combination!

I absolutely loved The Sound of Music..I never tire of watching it! I think the amazing chemistry between Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer makes this the most romantic movie of all time! I always wondered if they were involved off screen since their chemistry is so strong.

I think that Franz definitely was a pro nazi, so he did rat on the von trapp family when they were leaving for the borders of switzerland...

Was Franz the butler in favor of the anschluss? Did he contact Herr Zeller and tell him of Captain Von Trapp's plan to leave Austria?
