Betsy posts on 5/28/2005 10:51:22 PM Hi Debbie and Christi, "Christmas Promise" is the most recent book in the series. "A New Leaf" came out BEFORE it did! Any ideas about finding out when the next book will be released? I've called one publisher (Putnam/Penguin) that Thomas Kinkade's "people" said to contact but they didn't have anything about his next book. I've been searching for months to find out about a release date for the next book....
Debbie posts on 5/27/2005 6:38:05 PM The book order is: Cape Light, Home Song, Gathering Place, A Christmas Song, A New Leaf. I have read Cape Light and Home Song, and am currently reading Gathering Place...I love these books.
Kristi posts on 5/27/2005 4:53:32 PM I am searching on line to try to find the order of the Cape Light books. I just read the first one from the Library and want to keep going...but the books don't tell you "book #2"...etc. Can anyone tell me the order of the books, I have not found it on line anywhere. Thanks
Debbie posts on 5/21/2005 8:27:31 AM I have read Cape Light and have purchased the rest of the series but want to be sure to read them in order...is it Cape Light, Home Song, A Gathering Place, Home Song, A New Leaf, A Christmas Promise. I loved Cape Light...the characters made me feel at home and part of thier lives.
Maura posts on 5/17/2005 10:56:49 AM Hello All, I finished reading the last Cape Light Novel - A Christmas Song. I read it in a few days, I just couldn't stop. These novels take me away right into cape light and I was in too much suspense to keep putting the book down. What a scenic place to live that would be! I have enjoyed all 5 books and am hoping the next one will include more on Sarah and Luke. I do have a criticism though - there are a few characters that don't come to mind that easily when I picture their faces - like Jessica, Molly and Sara etc. One repetitive description of the females has been "curly hair" or "wisps or curls" falling on their face. And they all blush. It would be nice if there were more distinct features as individuals. I can clearly picture lilian, Digger, Sam and other characters. Also many of them get strong embraces or a deep kiss - it gets to be a little predictable how the emotion or act will be describe. Other than that I love these books and what the storylines are about - I find them humorous sometimes and a very peaceful read. I like the way the book is written and you can see events unfolding before you, it makes the book so alive. Some have complained of this but I like the jumping from one story to another like a cliff hanger, or like a soap opera when you move to another side of town and different people to see what's happening there. I hope they keep writing these wonderful novels - Looking forward to the next one!

Betsy posts on 4/12/2005 11:54:38 AM Hi Renee, Finding out when the next Cape Light book comes out seems to be the million dollar question! I haven't been able to locate a way to even contact TK or KS or a publisher to find out and I've been searching for months. If anyone out there knows anything please let us know! betsy
