AmbularNubular posts on 8/16/2012 12:21:25 PM There is a Victoria Holt fan page on FaceBook that updates with information often. It covers all of Eleanor Hibbert's pseudonyms, as well.

Jorge Rojas posts on 2/14/2012 10:24:12 PM Some time ago I read a novel whose title I don't remember. I think it was one of the novels of Victoria Holt, but I am not completely sure. In this novel a young aristocrat without money is forced to marry an unattractive young woman he does not love, but rich enough to solve his problems. The girl's name was Jessica or Jennifer. Little by little she proves to be an excellent wife, and finally he recognizes that their marriage was not a bad idea. Does anybody knows the title of this novel?

Emily posts on 7/17/2010 4:29:34 PM I love Victoria Holt Books! My favorite is The Captive Also loved The House of a Thousand Lanterns Menfreya in the Morning The Pride of the Peacock The India Fan The King of His Castle I was recently disappointed with The Legend of the Seventh Virgin...it was difficult to read such a selfish character do evil, then do good only to a depressing end Secret for a Nightengale....I felt there were too many loose ends in this book. Damien was way too harsh and remote, and for her to simply let go so many things bothered me. I relate to most of her characters, the ones who are practical, self-made, proud, and perhaps a little prudish. When she writes a character who is selfish, weak, or too naive, I spend my time reading being disappointed in the character....even if things work out for them.
Leslie posts on 6/18/2010 3:59:13 PM If you love Victoria Holt's historical fiction you will adore Canadian writer Susanna Kearsley. She also writes under the name of Emma Cole for her new thriller, Every Secret Thing. All of her books are utter perfection. Everyone I've given them to loves them, please post your comments. I promise you won't be sorry!
