Routt, Joyce posts on 1/29/2006 11:19:32 PM I just saw you on a special about Jesse James. I also beleive that Frank Dalton was Jesse, and I think that I can tell you why, as told to me by Leonard Broadfoot, who was told the story by Frank Dalton himself while he was painting his protrait at Merimac Caverns. My parents printed Leonards book and I use to deliver them to him long ago. He was in his 80's at the time, but a facinating man. I'm AlWAYS surprised that nobody knows this small fact that pulls it all together. Or maybe...Frank Dalton in a moment of "what the heck" decided to tell this one artist in a bragging moment. You have to say one thing. Frank Dalton was as much a braggart and lier as Jesse James was...in other words...he could not change his true nature. THe govenments' cover up in the whole thing has been carefully covered up. Much like Roswell. Anyway...too little is made of Frank's contribution to Critendon's book, where Frank has a chapter completely unrelated to anything. ....funny coincidence. I plan to read your books...That ol Judge sure is trying hard to keep Jesse's image going...does he still get money from the whole drama? just wondered. Anyway...I'm glad you spoke up. Also, are they gonna kill off Jesse in the new movie with Brad Pitt?? or is he going to become Frank? do you know?
