the movie (a woman in flames) should be on dvd and available in the usa;but for some reason it isn't. GEt out on dvd; there should be no reason for the holdup. This could of been a better movie if it stuck to it's main theme of s&m. Gudrun landgrebe didn't show enough cruelty in her character of eva,and wasn't believeable as a dominatrix. gudrun dosn't have the sexiness or the viciousness of another german actress, by the name of mechthild grossmann. Most importantly, it dosn't have the impact, or power of a much better movie, called seduction:cruel woman.

a german movie by robert van ackerman, very light in the bdsm department,the movie lacks intensity and power. gudrun landgrebe the main star is the only reason to watch this movie. the rest of the characters are bland and pathetic. for the bondage theme,it's not in the class of a much better movie titled seduction:cruel woman, nor gudrun has the sexiness of another german actress by the name of mechthild grossman. my rating is 3 out of 10.
