georgia posts on 2/19/2009 3:29:13 PM I am struck by the fact that some people give information on Nadia, saying that she is in England, that is happy and finally chose to live with her husband. Some even say that they know her personally. If it is true or not is not all that I know of course, as in a can that he wants to write. But nobody has written anything as to what the Zana and Miriam say. Still live in Birmingham? It is in good health? Is it true that Nadia has contacts with them? It was formerly a member of that Nadia feels shame for what did his mother and sister. Their own feelings of what this season? Above all, I would like to know if it is good for their health. Nobody has their own news?
anonymous posts on 2/18/2009 1:32:00 PM i think the story was exaggerated abit. She is happy, she is here in the UK with her children. i see her around sometimes. she's still in contact with her father and everything is fine =]
georgia posts on 2/6/2009 10:54:34 AM From the other hand I think that if it is true that Nadia is against her sister and her mother after what they said and wrote about her,I understand why they stopped to inform the public. But I am confused by another website in which until the end of 2008 there were candles for Nadia with the wish to come back in England. Why this happened if she didn’t want it?In this moment there is a rumour that says when Marcus grew up he searched for his mother in England. This approves that Zana’s fighting was honest and she said the truth.Otherwise wouldn’t she want her son to see her that left him a little child?I am confused.

Talia posts on 1/30/2009 1:32:01 PM I think its great that people as young as fatema and i are starting to read thebook, its raising our awareness of what could lie in our future. If only there was another way to warn girls of our age.
fatema posts on 1/26/2009 3:40:03 PM hi im 11 and ive read 3/4 of the book and its really interesting and very unfair on the girls. it is a wonderful book that did actually touched my heart and my sisters are always asking me questions since i have read loads of the book. zana was a very strong girl and nadia was very caring for her family.
Artur Fernandes Pinto Pinto posts on 1/23/2009 5:29:45 AM After having read the three books about Zana's sad experience for being sold, by her own father, I have to say that she is a great woman. I hope she managed to free her sister Nadia. And please send me her phone number to make her a call.To greet her, to encourage her, A woman of this determination cannot be silenced with the course of time.
Talia posts on 1/22/2009 2:12:25 PM Exactly. There is no way of knowing what has happened unless an official update on TV or Radio is anounced. Some how, like the comment said below, i dont think anything new will come up as they are still making profit off that book.
Cal posts on 1/22/2009 12:22:01 PM I think this story is now probably best left alone. The family has published books, press releases, etc., to make the world aware of their plight. If Nadia and children are in the UK then @ least they are with family/friends. If not, then all we can do is hope that life is o.k.
Lydia posts on 1/15/2009 8:40:32 PM the reason why there are no new messages from zana and miriam is because till this very day their book is still being sold soo we know what they may be getting out of the books ££££££££ anyways i think this should come to an end and they should be given their privacy. but i dont think this will ever happen as people around the world are still reading this book thinking that she is still in yemen.
Keetie posts on 12/30/2008 7:13:35 AM This is what Andrew Crofts is telling us about Nadia in his blog: There is something about this real life fairy tale, in which two young sisters from Birmingham think they are going on holiday to the Yemen, only to find when they get there that their father has sold them as child brides, that seems to catch readers’ imaginations and touch them deeply. It took their mother six years to find them in the bandit-ridden mountains and another two years to get Zana out. Nadia did not escape till many years later, when all their children were grown up.
