Sharmila posts on 7/1/2009 1:00:38 PM hello...ive read Jamais sans ma fille a couple of years ago..and now i just finished reading today vendues! im completely disgusted by what happened and im extremely impressed by how both of u..Zana and Nadia have survived such horrible treatment and disrespect..(along with all the physical and verbal abuses you have suffered)i cannot begin to imagine your situation at that time..and if i hadent read your book, i would have probably never known the true situation of many young girls..For me the idea of being sold was ancient..to this day id never thought that people still lived like this..now i know and the more people know the more we can fight together to improve lives worlwide!Best wishes to u both and your family

marija posts on 6/14/2009 6:23:28 AM Hello zana, I've read the books, it is so sad what has happend to you, yur mother and most of all to your sister nadia. Your father's and all other milions of muslim men, the aim is to make babies as many as possible to tide the women down and control them and treat them like animals. Evil men.Zana have trust in God.May God Bless you. Where is Nadia now?

vicky posts on 4/24/2009 4:22:49 PM I have read all that happen to zana i know that it is very difficult for her.I want to know what had happende to nadia and her children please post a note.
Linda posts on 4/12/2009 7:32:27 AM Zana and family. I'm from Australia and have just finished reading SOLD & PROMISE TO NADIA and I am so saddened and shocked to realise this is still going on. In a country of equity and equal rights for women it is unacceptable that Nadia has not been rescued and given the chance to live a normal life of raising her children, popping to the shops, laughing with family, swimming and all the other things we do day-to-day and take for granted. Zana, I know you will never give up and I want you to know that my thoughts and the thoughts of my family are with you and yours.
