Adam is a young man living in New York, but he has some trouble in his relationships with people, in general. He is very isolated, until he meets his lovely new neighbour Beth. Very soon she notices that Adam is different from other people and realizes he has Asperger Syndrome. Beth is a kindergarten teacher, and slowly starts building a relationship with Adam. She tries to show him how life can be beautiful and what people are really like in the real world. She teaches him a lot about appropriate behavior and how he can improve his relationship with her and people around him. The movie shows the beauty of a relationship between two completely different people. It also shows how lovely and intelligent someone with Asperger Syndrome can be. It's based on a true story and it's a very beautiful, touching movie.
