After the Thin Man Movie Review Summary

Actors: William Powell, Myrna Loy, James Stewart

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of After the Thin Man

This is the second entry in the Thin Man-series, based on Dashiell Hammet's books. William Powell stars as detective Nick Charles, who has just retired and plans to spend his time taking care of his rich wife's (Nora's) money. Unfortunately one of Nora's relatives is murdered so Nick has to start a little detecting again. The film is first and foremost a comedy, almost too little time is spent on the actual murder-plot. Powell and Loy are in absolute top form, but Myrna is given less room to act than in their previous film.
