Airport '80 Movie Review Summary

Actors: Alain Delon, George Kennedy, Robert Wagner, Susan Blakely, Sylvia Kristel

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Airport '80

This is the last of the "air disaster" movies and features - for a change - the Concorde (instead of the 747!) but manned by an old hand - Capt. Joe Patroni (George Kennedy). Starting from New York, The Concorde is headed for the Moscow Olympics with a Paris stopover. Laced with numerous subplots involving the flight crew and passengers, the story line hinges on a woman named Maggie Whelan (Susan Blakely) who is on board and has some confidential papers exposing the nuclear secrets of the reputed Harrison industries. Kevin Harrison (Robert Wagner), chief of Harrison industries, is aware of this and in cold blood, plants an explosive inside the plane. When the bomb goes off in mid air, the captains Metrand (Alain Delon) and Patroni face the cahallenge to try and land the aircraft on the snow covered Alps.
