This movie is about an alchoholic farmer named Jones who is needs money from other farmers or his farm will be lost. He has an affair with the farmer's wife. His prized boar Old Major has a dream about a rebellion against man. He dies but the other animals carry out his wish and drive Jones and his family off the farm. The animals are extremely happy until the pigs take over and start acting like humans (which Old Major said not to do). The dog named Jesse is the only one that realises somethings wrong and hides her and the animals until the end when they take back the farm from the pigs.

Baised on the book by George Orwell, Animal farm takes place in a little farm where the prized boar Old Major is talking about his dream of Animal Freedom. Old Major dies and the animals go through a revolution similar to the Russian revolution to take back the farm. The farm does great and everyone gets their fair share. The farm is led by the pigs: Snowball (voice of Grammar), Napoleon (voice of Stewert), and Squealer (voice of Holm). Snwoball is wise and good, but gets run out by Napoleon with charges of treason. Now, as Napoleon rises to mad power and Squealer manipulates the "public", only Jessie the dog (Ormond) sees what's going on: every day, the pigs are beginning to act more and more like men! However, it isn't untill the tragedy befalling the loyal workhorse Boxer that the other animals suspect something. A very thoughtful piece of film baised on an even more thoughtful book.
