A group of aliens who reside on the planet Emerald are concerned about Earth, because it is being threatened by another group of aliens known as the Spherions. The aliens who wish to save the Earth send someone named Starman to protect it from the Spherions.

When Starman arrives on Earth, he discovers a conspiracy involving the planet's top scientists, so he must now find the traitors as well as stop the Spherion invasion.
