Actors: Allison Hayes, William Hudson, Yvette Vickers

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958)

Beautiful Nancy Archer (Hayes) lives in the California desert off Route 66 and is worth 50 million dollars, but is dreadfully unhappy because her no-good hubby Harry (Hudson) is fooling around with brainless cupcake Honey Parker (Vickers). The two scheme on how to make the heiress's fortune their own, but a "satellite" (basically a white sphere) descends into the desert and drives Nancy around the bend. While under her doctor's care at home, she balloons into a 50-foot woman, and goes on the rampage in search of her errant man. This 1958 camp classic uneasily combines science fiction, noir, and horror, and offers loads of unintended laughs.
