Bachelor Party is one of Tom Hanks' first comedy movie roles in this zany, sex romp centered on Hanks impending marriage to Tawny Kitaen. Hanks (Rick), is a school bus driver and a slob, while she is rich and pretty. His in-laws hate him, her friends hate him, her ex (Cole) hates him, so he and his buddy Jay (Adrian Zmed) and friends must get past the final hurdle of his bachelor party before he can tie the knot. His night starts with a luxury hotel suite with a band, booze, drugs, strippers, "donkey show", past girlfriends, and dozens of people who drop in for the party.

At Debbie's bachelorette party, the guys sabotage things with Nick "the Dick". The girls decide to crash Rick's party disguised as hookers and are hit on by a group of Japanese businessmen on another floor of the hotel. When it is discovered Cole is trying to kill the groom the guys then hang him out of the hotel window clothed only in sheets until he slips to the ground naked. It all leads to a madcap chase when the police arrive then a fight in a 3-D movie theater. Eventually the bride and groom ride off into the sunset in his school bus to a happy ending.
