Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Blade 2

Blade (WESLEY SNIPES) is a half-human, half-vampire whose mission in life has been to find and kill all vampires. His mentor, Whistler (KRIS KRISTOFFERSON), the man who invented a serum to allow Blade to be in the daylight - thus his nickname of "Daywalker" - has been missing for years and presumed dead.

Yet, Blade eventually finds, rescues and gives him an antidote to counter the vampirism that now afflicts him. Blade's new technician/inventor partner, Scud (NORMAN REEDUS), isn't thrilled to have the old man back in their fold, but the three soon learn they have bigger fish to fry. It seems that a mutant super-vampire, Nomak (LUKE GOSS), is on the loose and killing other vampires.

Accordingly, vampire overlord Damaskinos (THOMAS KRETSCHMANN) has sent his daughter, Nyssa (LEONOR VARELA) and her co-warrior, Asad (DANNY JOHN JULES), to convince Blade and his team to join the vampires in an unusual alliance to find and kill Nomak before he infects and creates a multitude of other super-vampires, known as Reapers.

Blade cautiously agrees and then meets the Bloodpack, a group of vampires led by Reinhardt (RON PERLMAN) who were specifically trained to find and kill Blade. Among its members are Chupa (MATT SCHULZE), Priest (TONY CURRAN), Snowman (DONNIE YEN), Lighthammer (DAZ CRAWFORD) and Verlaine (MARIT VELLE KILE), and they're just as unhappy about working with Daywalker as he is to allow them to live.

Nevertheless, the unlikely team then sets out to find Nomak only to discover, among other things, that he and the other reapers are more powerful than originally thought.

Blade is back. He rescues his friend, Whistler, from the vampires who kidnapped him. Soon after, Blade is forced to work with vampires who he hates so much in order to stop a new breed of creature, a creature more powerful than any vampire, a creature that can only be killed by sunlight. Blade gets set up by his so-called friend, Scud, and is captured by the vampires. He learns that the creatures were created by the head vampire. The leader of these creatures then kills his creator before he is finally put out of his misery by Blade.

This is the long awaited sequel to "Blade". In the movie Blade continues the good fight and tries to save his mentor Whistler.
However when a new enemy makes his presence known Blade thinks it a blessing as he's also killing vampires. But when the pure-blood vampires explain the situation that his beloved humans are next he agrees to take charge of the task force to eliminate the threat. Now the two rival groups must come together to face the new threat that threatens them both.
However this alliance makes Blade question who he is a vampire or human. In the end he has to accept that he is neither, but a whole new something else.
A great film, with superb special effects! Not for those with weak stomachs as its really gory.

Wesley Snipes plays Blade, half vampire, half human. THis time he teams with a group of vampires to take out a new mutant(Reaper) strain of them. Unfortuanitly this becomes harder than expected when they discover conventional means of killing vampires don't work.
