Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Blades Of Glory

Chazz is a cocky but amazing figure skater, his rival, the softer and more subdued Jimmy, get banned from any professional figure skating competition due to their fistfight over tying. Years later both are washed up skaters, Chazz working in an ice-capades-type show, and Jimmy at a sporting goods store. Through a kink in the sporting rules, the two reluctantly partner up as the first same-sex figure skating team in the sport. Their rivals, siblings Stranz and Fairchild are threatened and they enlist their sister Katie to do re-con. Katie and Jimmy end up in a romance. Meanwhile, Chazz and Jimmy qualify, and then practice a dangerous move that's sure to win them gold. Stranz and Fairchild create a rift between Chazz and Jimmy by encouraging Katie to hook-up with Chazz. Chazz turns her down, but Jimmy sees the two together and is furious. The next day, Stranz and Fairchild kidnap Chazz and Jimmy and they learn that Katie was just a pawn. They escape and then later reconcile to compete in the final games and pull off the daring move.
Best part of story, including ending: It's a spoof on "The Cutting Edge," and the costumes, music, and routines are parodied like crazy.

Best scene in story: When we are first introduced to Chazz, a sex symbol on the ice, and then Jimmy, who is the un-macho weakling with "graceful" moves.

Opinion about the main character: Chazz is an "ape" but acts more civilized when he realizes that his friendship and career is at stake.
