In order to get out of the house, one of the men tricks his wife by pretending he received a telegram and must leave on important business.

His wife overhears the conversation, but decides to play along. When she learns that they intend to swipe her hidden bottle of alcohol, she empties it and fills it with tea, pepper, garlic and tabasco sauce.

The two men sneak the bottle into the club and mix themselves a few drinks. They're so dumb that they believe they're drinking good liqour and getting drunk.

The wife shows up with a shotgun and chases the two baffoons out of the club and down the street.
