The movie is about a male, Johny Deep, whom grows up and moves to California. Him and his friend are fresh out of school and are introduced to the party scene. He meets lots of girls which all have the same occupation, airess. He starts hanging out with all these girls and eventually introduced to MARIJUANA. Some of his friends come to visit and they are so suprised with all the MARIJUANA that they have and his friend convinces him to send some and sell it back home. Their is many rich kids that can't find anything to do with their money and are willing to buy drugs. So him, his girlfriend, and his friends start running a bussiness. The girls, airess, fly back to Johny Deep's home and hand it down to another person to sell. They make alot of money. Eventually to much. So then he gets married and then one night they get caught with MARIJUANA. He gets bailed out and he finds out his fiance has cancer and has a short time to live. He skips his court date and when she dies he goes back to his parents house. When he arrives everything is cool but then his mom sets him up with cops because she knows he sells drugs. He goes back to jail. While in jail he learns about COCAINE and decides to sell it with some help when he gets out. Later on he does. One of the suppliers girl catches his eyes so then he marries her. The supplier in revenge takes his connection. Of course he already has all the money he wants but still. Then his wife is pregnant and they are going to have a girl. Towards the end of the movie, at one of his parties the cops coem and get him because of illegal transporation of drugs. At the end while drinking with his buddies he gets arrested and sentenced to life. At the prison he has flashes of his daughter visiting him but she never did.

George Jung (Depp), the son of a poor blue collar worker vows never to be poor like his parents and starts trafficing marijuana to earn money. Realizing how lucrative a career it is, he starts mass dealings, working out of Mexico and California. He finds both success and imprisonment in these trades. In jail, George meets a man who introduces him to cocaine, and George becomes responsible for 85% of the cocaine supply in the 1970s. He marries (Cruz) and has a daughter, but to continue his lavish lifestyle, continues to deal cocaine until he is betrayed by a friend. This costs George his family and his freedom.
