Desperate for a last chance, Hollywood producer Bobby Bowfinger (Steve Martin), persuades the identical twin brother of superstar Kit Ramsey (Eddie Murphy in a dual role), to pretend to be his brother as he secretly shoots his movie with no permits, few real actors, and a lot of gaul in this hilarious satire of everything Hollywood, from the aging hipsters, to the actresses who pursue relationships like ladder rungs.
