Holly (Linsey Haun) is a struggling student at a top University for the musical arts. She is an aspiring singer. She and her mom both struggle with money problems. This is mostly a story of a daughter and mother relationship and a teenage girls' dreams. While Holly attends school, she is pressured by her teachers, and an enemy. A black girl makes fun of Holly and makes singing in the school a competition between the two.
