This is a story of Patrick Chamusso, who is a loving and charming husband and he is a caring father of two young cute daughters. Patrick Chamusso lives in South Africa. Patrick works as a foreman at the Secunda oil refinery, he also coaches a local boy's soccer team in his spare time.

Shrewd and charismatic Nic Vos, is in the country's Police Security Branch. Vos struggles to maintain order in unstable situations. Unstable situations have become increasingly frequent, as the outlawed activist organization African National Congress (ANC) rallies blacks against apartheid.
Vos is also worried about the safety of his wife and kids. Vos family live a world away from the Chamusso family, until the innocent Patrick comes under suspicion and is arrested (in 1980) for sabotage of the Secunda oil refinery.
Now Patrick is desperate to shield Precious from a past of carelessness and tries to keep his job. But he is not ready to bear brutal cross-examination by Vos's men. Vos arrests Patrick's wife Precious and torture her. Although Patrick and Precious are soon released from custody but Patrick is completely out of his sense of self and purpose. Patrick also leaves his family and joins the ANC to becoming a rebel. Patrick wants to bring a change for his family, for the people living in his country and for South Africa itself.
This movie is also known as “Hot Stuff” or “Hotstuff”. This movie is rated PG-13 for thematic material involving torture and abuse, violence and brief language.
