Strike (Phifer) is a young man whose life seems to have little promise. He enjoys his model trains and chocolate Moo, but he's not in school and hustling on the streets of Brooklyn to make a living. It's giving him stomach problems. To make matters worse, his drug dealing mentor (Lindo) talks him into killing another young man, but he has seemingly talked his straight-laced, married with children older brother (Washington) into doing the job for him. All fingers, however, point to Strike. The hard homicide cops (Keitel and Turturro) are determined to dig to the truth.
