The classic board game is brought to life in this funny murder mystery. Wadsworth (Tim Curry), the butler to the elusive Mr. Boddy has been instructed to recieve guests all of whom share a common secret. As Wadsworth and the guests learn more about the reason they were brought to the Boddy mansion, Mr. Boddy makes an appearance and bodies begin to suddenly turn up. Convinced that the killer is one of them the guests try to figure out whodunnit before they're killed next. But when Mr. Boddy winds up dead, the guests begin to wonder if he was who he said he was or if anyone is who they claim to be.

A humerous adaption of the popular board game. Six people known only by their given aliases: Mr. Greene (McKean); Miss Scarlett; Col. Mustard (Mull); Mrs. Peacock; Prof. Plum (Lloyd); and Mrs. White (Kahn) are invited to a mansion of a one Mr. Boddy, who has been blackmailing them and his former butler, Wadsworth (Curry). When Boddy is killed during this meeting, a search ensues to find out who killed him. Quickly, because Wadsworth phoned the police to expose Boddy and they're on their way. Each theatre showed one of three different endings. On Video and T.V. all three endings are shown.
