The story of the challenges faced by a white American girl and Mexican American guy who fall in love. The girl must find acceptance and discover herself in a cold society and family situation while the guy must learn to fight the pressures to end the relationship and the challenges it brings that apparently threaten his goals.

This movie is all about growing up and facing difficult issues. Its about finding love and not being intimidated by obsticals that may be blocking that love. This movie starts off from the very begining making the audience feel involved both physicaly and romanticly. I feel that this movie will and has already struck a cord in many biracial relationships and the people who are in them. It makes it ok to love anyone ...no matter the hue of their skin.
