Meanwhile, on Earth, the Crites' ship crashlands near the Brown Household - home to Jay, Helen and their kids April and Brad. Having heard the crash, Jay and Brad (Billy Green Bush, Scott Grimes) investigate and find the remains of some cattle the Critters have eaten.

After attacking an investigating police officer, the Critters move towards the farm, eventually cutting off the power and attacking the family, who fight for their lives.

As this happens, the two alien bounty hunters make their way across the town, searching for the Critters and creating enormous amounts of damage. Brad runs into them when he goes to get help, and they begin back to the home to rid the world of these Critters before they repopulate and destroy the Earth.
