Josh Miller is entering as a pre-med student through a scholarship. He is committed in doing well on his exams and has no interest in partying. His roommate Cooper is quite the opposite. He is a spoiled rich kid who never has any interest in studying and enjoys his bong and parties. Before long, Cooper slowly pulls Josh into his fun filled lifestyle and it starts to affect his studies and both are on the verge of flunking out of school.
One night while they're at a bar they discover that any student whose roommate commits suicide will receive straight A's. So they decide to find the most depressed classmate that they can find and move him in as their roommate. Their prime candidate happens to be a guy named Cliff who is mentally unbalanced and wild.
Best part of story, including ending:
What I like about the story is that it is entertaining and the performances from the two leads is great. The story pokes fun at a situation that many people can relate to.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when Cooper wakes up Josh in panic about whether their roommate is actually depressed. Cooper later says I need some air and sticks his head out the window, then he says I need a bong and while smoking the bong Cooper decides to break it.
Opinion about the main character:
What I enjoyed most about the main character is his humor and how in the beginning of the film he's dedicated in becoming a doctor.
