An actress is invited to take over a movie role that was being played by someone else who greatly resembles her. She is taken to a country house and soon learns that what is really going on is much more frightening than filmmaking.
"Dead of Winter" is the movie adaptation from the Anthony Gilbert's novel "The Woman in Red", the movie delivers good scares and surprises towards the end. Good entertainment for a rainy night.
