This is the story of two salesmen in a tyre company who after their boss dies are demoted by the new boss to the position of secretaries, a position held by ladies in an attempt to frustrate them. Rodney and his colleague Mike are not just workmates but friends as well. Their drama begins when they go partying in the company of their boss, Bob Farell. They get him drunk and crazy, but unfortunately he gets overwhelmed and dies of a heart attack the same night. Ken Castro, their greatest enemy in the office is promoted to take up Bob's position. Initially, they made life unbearable for him by exposing him to the boss and so Mr. Castro gets his opportunity to revenge. He punishes them by demoting them to secretaries, where they have to work with ladies and contend with their gossips and girlish behaviors.

Rodney is engaged to Jennifer and they are intending to get married though Jennifer's father seems not to like him. Unfortunately he gets to know about Rodney's situation at work and compels him to tell Jennifer. Rodney knows that Jennifer will not take this well and so he promises to tell her the truth but he is not really planning to do that. Instead, he lies to her that he has been promoted and is now a manager. This is a big mistake since he now has to maintain the lie and act especially on occasions when Jennifer gives him an impromptu visit in the office. She is engraved in planning their wedding such that she fails to catch the clues on what is really going on.
In the office, life becomes harder for Rodney and Mike when they try to fit into their new company. They are forced to attend girl parties and wear pink games uniforms in the field. Eventually they are incorporated in the group and they come in handy in giving the ladies advice on how to handle men they are relating to. Working as secretaries however does not become any easier for them; they keep making blunders and messing up everything. They are not able to meet deadlines and their respective bosses are not making it any better for them. They also realize the poor working conditions that the secretaries have been work under and they plan a demonstration. They are successful in creating a scene that attracts the media giving the secretaries a platform to air their concerns.
While all this is happening, Jennifer finds out the truth about Rodney demotion and cancels the wedding. She feels deceived and despite Rodney's attempts to explain himself; she has already made up her mind.. The secretaries after having their problems sorted at the office decide to help Rodney save his relationship. They talk to Jennifer and explain how much Rodney sacrificed to see them have a good working condition. She hears them out and agrees to go on with their wedding as planned.
Best part of story, including ending:
I like this story because of its comic nature
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when the secretaries stage a demonstration. The management initially ignores them until they realize that they are attracting attention and that is when they agree to listen.
Opinion about the main character:
I like the fact that Rodney was able to use his demotion to help the secretaries out of their poor working conditions.
