DIABOLIQUE (Les Diaboliques) is a movie directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot and adapted from a well-known book of Boileau-Narcejac in 1955. Véra Clouzot and Paul Meurisse are the owners of a private school in the middle of France. Due to the precarious financial situation, their marriage is falling apart. Simone Signoret, one of the teachers of the school, convinces Véra to kill her husband.
