Big Brother meets The Most Dangerous Game. In an oppressive near-future society, "deviants" and "degenerates" are sent to "re-education centers," where depraved, sadistic guards and wardens physically and psychologically torture and punish them. Occasionally they hold hunts, where certain inmates are given the opportunity to escape as the warden and special upper-class guests hunt them down with exotic weapons. This action movie attemts to be meaningful by making a statement about freedom and the threat of government oppression. An efficient, low-budget, Australian action movie with two Mad Max connections: music by Brian May and a supporting performance by the bald police captain.
