Psychiatrist George Brent makes the acquaintance of the Devereaux, a wealthy family living in a superb mansion in the middle of NYC. He's asked by Nick Devereaux to observe his wife Hedy Lamarr and to confirm that she's slowly turning mad. Brent falls in love with Lamarr and discovers that Brent is in fact the one who's needing assistance. But isn't it already too late for that ?
