Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Fantastic Mr. Fox

Mr. Fox (George Clooney), his wife Felicity (Meryl Streep) and their son Ash move into a better home at the base of a tree, despite their lawyer Badger (Bill Murray) warning them that it's a dangerous place for foxes. The tree is located near three farms lead by mean characters. Soon Fox's nephew Kristofferson comes and lives with them.

Meanwhile, Fox steals food, produce and poultry, from the nearby farms. The farmers decide to kill him and when Fox comes out of the hole, the farmers attack, succeeding to shoot off his tail only. Then they try to dig him out. After demolishing the area of the tree, the farmers find the escape tunnel the Foxes dug. Reasoning that at some point the Foxes will have to surface, the farmers wait at the mouth of the tunnel. Underground, Fox comes across many local animal residents who have had their homes demolished. With starvation looming, Fox heads an expedition to dig a tunnel to the farms to rob them blind. As the rest of the animals celebrate, Ash and Kristofferson return to Bean's farm to claim Mr. Fox's tail. Interrupted by Bean's wife, Kristofferson gets captured.

Realizing that Fox has stolen from them, the farmers decide to flood the animals' tunnels, leaving them no choice but to take refuge in the sewers. Fox finds out that the farmers plan on using Kristofferson to ambush him. The animals run into Rat (Willem Dafoe), Bean's guard. Fighting Fox fatally injures him and in dying, Rat reveals Kristofferson's location. Fox suggests the farmers to meet, offering to surrender in exchange for Kristofferson's release. The farmers try to ambush them, but Fox and the others anticipated that, launch a counterattack and free Kristofferson.

After a while the animals adjust to life in the sewers. Fox shows his family a floor outlet built into the floor of the supermarket the three farmers now own. Rejoicing in their newly found food supply, the animals dance in the store.
Best part of story, including ending: It's a typical Roald Dahl story.

Best scene in story: Where they dig a hole to escape the flooding and you see the underground network.

Opinion about the main character: He takes care of his own and others.
