Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Father Hood

Jack Charles is not an ordinary dad- more deadbeat is what describe him best. Charles' teenage daughter Kelly were placed in foster care because no one was able to take her after the death of her mother. Charles of course is unfit to raise her because of his criminal background. One day Kelly escapes the group home because of sexual and phyiscal abuse by the head man of the home and goes home straight to her father for "help and support".

Charles is a bit weary taking his daughter in because he feels she is not his problem depsite her being his daughter. So he tries to dump her off with his mother Rita-who proves to be a busybody herself playing craps and having no time to be the typical grandmother that bakes cookies and sit at home all day. She is running from the law herself after having some bad altercation with them.

Kelly pleaded with her father not to let her go back to the home, after admitting it being a abusive enviroment and that his son Eddie will soon be taken to the home to and get the same treatment that she did. Finally Charles grow a heart for his children and after seeing the awful conditions of the place, he "kidnaps" Eddie at gunpoint from the authorities and from then on, a wild goose chase in three different states between him and the children, and with the cops after whole family. This causes major headlines while a young reporter Kathleen is tring to get the latest update on the fugitive and his kids.
