Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Fool's Gold

Finn is a treasure hunter who is about to be divorced to Tess, who's tired of Finn's obsession with the Aurelia, a Spanish ship full of gold that has sunk in the Caribbean. Finn owes money to the island mobster BiggBunny, who threatens Finn's life. Finn sets his sights on Tess' billionaire employer Nigel Honeycut, who is currently anchored in the island on his yacht, where Tess works as a steward. After impressing and flirting a bit with Nigel's daughter Gemma, Finn is invited to dinner, to Tess' dismay and surprise. Finn pitches his treasure hunt to Nigel who is game, saying that he has a good lead this time. Meanwhile, BiggBunny has hired another treasure hunter Moe to look for the Aurelia. When Finn finds a Spanish sword, Tess and Finn go to a coastal church, and find clues at the nearby gravesite pointing to a blowhole location. BiggBunny's men assault them there, kidnaps Tess, and leaves Finn for "dead," or so they think. Tess is lowered into the blowhole but doesn't inform the men of the treasure there. But when the blowhole spurts water, and pieces of gold, the men leave Tess there and plan how to get the rest of the treasure. Finn runs after Tess, and after trouble with the thugs, they escape under water. But, when they surface, Tess is taken by BiggBunny. Trying to escape on a small water plane, Finn chases them on a jet ski, climbs up and BiggBunny is pushed out of the plane. The plane crash lands, but Tess and Finn survive, and have fallen in love during the whole ordeal. They reconcile, and exhibit all the gold in a museum.

Best part of story, including ending: Figuring out the treasure clues was entertaining, and the two leads have such chemistry.

Best scene in story: Whenever Finn and Tess would bicker, it's obvious they are still into each other.

Opinion about the main character: Finn is obsessed with the Aurelia, but it is also driven by his love for Tess, who he knows shares his passion in finding the treasure.
