This is a heartwarming romantic comedy told in flashback form. An engaged couple Andy and Liz (Mantegna and Stevenson) are waiting for their married friends Mickey and Ellen (Crystal and Winger) to arrive for lunch. They show us the up and downs of the relationship of Ellen and Mickey and how they met in Paris. Mickey works as an NBA referee so there are many cameos from famous basketball stars, sports announcers, and even radio commentator Rush Limbaugh.
