Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Freaky Friday

Anna (Lohan) and her mother (Curtis) are always fighting about something. Neither one understands the other, and they don't make enough of an attempt to gain an understanding. While at a Chinese restaurant, they are each given a magical fortune cookie. The morning after they open the cookies, they find out that they switched bodies. Each has to learn to live the other's life while they try to figure out how to switch back: Anna tries to be a well known psychiatrist, dealing with her mother's patients, and her mother tries to deal with being back in school, where there are tests, friends and enemies, and mean teachers to deal with. Unfortunately, Anna's mother is about to get married, and Anna has an important audition coming up, so they need to switch back soon. Anna certainly doesn't want to marry her mother's fiance and Anna's mother doesn't know how to play the guitar.

Dr. Tess Coleman has a very hard time understanding her teenage daughter Annabell, and suprise, surprise, Annabell doesn't understand her mother's position and how much stress she goes through at her work either. Tess is about to get remarried after her husband's death, but Anna is not so happy about that. When mother and daugther got into an argument at a Chinese restuarant, a Chinese lady offered them fortune cookies. After they read the fortunes, Tess and Annabell switched bodies. They spent a "freaky Friday" discovering each other's weakness and strength, and learned to walk in another's shoe. This is a usual family conflict drama/mostly comedy. It is enjoyable to the whole family.

FREAKY FRIDAY is a comedy directed by Mark S. Waters in 2003.

Tess is a successful psychiatrist who's on the verge of getting married for the second time. She's got two children and experiences some communication problems with her 15 years old daughter Anna. Two days before the wedding, at a chinese restaurant, they switch bodies, Tess's mind entering her daughter's young body while Anna is entering the 40 years old body of Tess.

Thanks to this unfortunate experiment, Tess and Anna will learn a lot about each other while everybody around them is wondering why the have suddenly become so eccentric. Hilarious.
