While getting to know Mrs. Threadgood, Evelyn learns about Ruth, Idgie and the rest of Ninnies friends and family. However, she also learns more about herself. She learns that she can take pride in herself and be a better person. Ninny taught Evelyn more than she ever thought possible.
Throughout this touching story of frienship, we also learn about another frienship and loss as we go through the life of Idgie and Ruth. Together, the woman became the best of friends and open up their own resturaunt. In amist all this, Idgie is charged with murder and there is a tragic demise for Ruth.
This wonderful movie is about four friends whose lives are touched in so many different ways!
